AZ Nerdfighter Gathering! At the Phoenix Zoo!

If there’s one thing Nerdfighters love, it’s giraffes who love giraffes. Come hang with fellow Nerdfighters and see fun animals.

Cost is like $18, but if you’re lucky, you can pick up a Culture Pass from your local library for 2 free admissions!

The hours for the event are just the hours the zoo is open.

So, find/make a Nerdfighter shirt, get the time off work and come have an AWESOME time!

Did you know that Nerdfighteria has an army?

It’s called the Nerdfighter Taskforce and instead of using guns and threats, we fight with kindness, love and wits.

The battlefield is over at Kiva.org and it looks like this:

As you can see, we’re currently in 2nd place in a whole bunch of categories and if you look at the picture below you can see that we’re also currently in 4th place when it comes to the member count.

2nd and 4th place is great, but you know what would be a whole lot better? That’s right! 1st place!!!

The teams that are beating us are doing so because they have a whole lot of more members than we do. And that’s where you come in! Joining Kiva.org is really easy, you can even sign in via your Facebook account!

What Kiva.org is you ask? Well, it looks like this:

and it’s a micro finance organization where you help other people by lending them small amounts of money so that they can expand their businesses, do home improvements or send their kids to school.

After the loan is fully funded, they start paying the money back, and on the 15th every month, you get refunded and can lend the money to someone new!

Joining the taskforce doesn’t mean you have to lend money right now, every month, or even that much.

Trust us, once you’ve joined, you’ll realize that it’s one of the most fulfilling parts of being a nerdfighter, and you’ll never wanna stop!

Guys, I finally finished them… NERDFIGHTER VALENTINES! :D This project has been more fun and time-consuming than I had imagined it would be. I actually started working on these before I made the Swoodilypooper ones, but I still managed to finish the Swoodilypooper ones first. But I am so happy with these!
